For Kids Grades K-5th:

The name and ministry of “Thrive Kids” was birthed from Jeremiah 17. When Jeremiah wrote this book and chapter it was during a time where the nation of Israel was living in the reality of what a life apart from God looks like due to their disobedience. Jeremiah says in verses 5-6 that:
“cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh
and whose hearts turn away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.”
At the time Jeremiah was writing these verses, this is what reality was like for Israel since they put their trust in others or in their own abilities. This is also the reality Thrive Kids wants to depict to our kids will look like if they choose to not place their trust in God’s word as they grow and mature.
Jeremiah continues in verses 7-8 which is the heart of Thrive Kid’s vision and says:

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.”
Thrive Kids is committed to teaching and empowering our kids and families to stay rooted and connected to God as their source. When we keep the Gospel at the center of all we do we will thrive- regardless of the circumstances surrounding our lives or in today’s culture.

Small Groups

Small groups are a fantastic way to get connected to people in the church, and many will tell you that the relationships and friendships they’ve built are ones that will last a lifetime. Numerous groups meet long after their sessions have ended. Prayer and study of the Bible in smaller group setting is largely beneficial to learning and growing for everyone. Give it a try, we’d love to have you join! Learn more about Small Groups…

For Men Only:

Men Of Iron - Peckville Assembly of God

Men of Iron has many different avenues for men to get involved in, all of which incorporate discipleship and development of a godly heritage and a closer walk with Jesus.

We believe men are distinctly called to be Godly leaders in their families, their churches and their communities. The Men of Iron ministry focuses on leadership and strength. Because iron sharpens iron, we seek to encourage other men to live up to the Godly standard the Lord calls us to.

With Men of Iron, men are equipped and empowered to grow, becoming the spiritual leaders God has called them to be. We believe in the power of mentorship and all that God can do through authentic fellowship. Guided by scripture, both the protégé and mentor grow in fellowship and accountability.

Through Men of Iron, we see families restored. We see marriages transformed. We see companies thrive. We see churches flourish. With the right mentorship, it’s amazing what God can do.
